Job Summary

The Tyson Foods, Inc. Ingredient Solutions Group is a global provider of human and animal edible ingredients. This position ensures compliance and provides timely and accurate export documents, certificates of authenticity (COAs), and information to customers and regulatory officials.

Responsibilities

  • Identify specification problems, inconsistencies, and errors.
  • Maintain clear and efficient communication with export customers, sales, labs, and FSQA.
  • Support all other export program clerical tasks.
  • Assist Supervisors, Managers, sales, regulatory officials, and export customers and act as liaison as needed.
  • Review and reconcile production export packets.
  • Monitor and reconcile COAs.
  • Answer questions and assist in resolutions pertaining to export containers.
  • Process, analyze, and distribute various reports.
  • Maintain production databases in Microsoft Excel.
  • Maintain information in Microsoft SharePoint.
  • Work with the Food Safety & Quality Assurance Teams and Labs to make any necessary adjustments to the loading, sampling, or testing process.
  • Spend time in production to better understand the products and paperwork process.
  • Organize paperwork.
  • Absorb and assist co-workers as needed.

Requirements

  • Education: High school degree with preference of one year certificate from college or technical school.
  • Experience: Two years of related experience or training. Knowledge of human and animal by-product processing is preferred.
  • Computer Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office or equivalent.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Special Skills: Ability to perform complex work instructions and/or operate sophisticated equipment without close supervision; able to work independently and resolve routine problems.
