Operational Support Associate - DC - Days
About the role
The Logistics Team member will be responsible for ensuring all product inbound, stocked, and shipped is accurate regarding case dimensions, case quantity, inner pack quantity, selling units, I2 of 5, UPC, description, and packaging. They will audit and inspect products daily to assess vendor compliance and recommend new packaging/handling requirements to enhance safety and damage control. Additionally, they will ensure all stock and non-stock returns are completed accurately and promptly, and communicate logistic issues to the General Office. This position may also require working in other departments as needed.

Requirements
- Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or GED equivalent, demonstrated good attendance, basic math and reading comprehension skills, basic computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Preferred Qualifications: Post-secondary education in business, supply chain management, transportation or related field, experience in distribution center operations, experience using troubleshooting processes to resolve problems, experience with software applications such as Excel, Access or data management system (Lowe’s DMS preferred), previous power equipment experiences (e.g. Reach truck or RC)
Qualifications

- Demonstrated track record of good attendance
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills
- Basic computer skills including a working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Post-secondary education in business, supply chain management, transportation or related field (preferred)
- Experience in distribution center operations (preferred)

Skills
- Ability to lift up to 70 pounds
- Strong ability to prioritize and manage time

Schedule
This role does not require regular travel. Requires availability to work morning, afternoon, nights, or weekends depending upon assigned shift and overtime based on the needs of the facility.
