Operational Resilience Risk Manager
About the role

The role supports the Firm’s Operational Resilience Framework by executing and enhancing processes designed to identify, protect, respond to, and recover from actual or potential operational disruptions.
Responsibilities
- Support the execution and continuous enhancement of the Firm’s Operational Resilience Framework, including Business Continuity, Disaster Recovery, and Crisis Management programs along with associated policies, standards, methodologies, and supporting procedures.
- Maintain and refine governance structures supporting Operational Resilience, including as chair of the Enterprise Resilience Council, working groups, and escalation forums.
- Partner with business units and technology teams to guide development and maintenance of Business Continuity Plans (BCPs), Disaster Recovery (DR) strategies, and Area Response Plans.
- Deliver training and awareness sessions to strengthen accountability for resilience preparedness across the Firm.
- Ensure program alignment with evolving regulatory guidance (e.g., Reg S-P, DORA), supervisory expectations, industry standards (e.g., ISO 22301, NIST), internal risk appetite, and business strategy.
- Conduct and maintain Business Impact Analyses (BIAs) within the Business Continuity Management (BCM) platform to identify Important Business Services and Critical Processes.
- Map dependencies across technology, personnel, data, facilities, and third parties to assess operational interconnectivity and concentration risk.
- Coordinate and document resilience testing activities, including enterprise tabletop exercises, business continuity tests, disaster recovery tests, and emergency notification exercises.
- Document testing outcomes, identify control gaps, and track remediation efforts to closure.
- Support fund board and executive management reporting and preparation of materials for governance committees, external assessments, and regulators.
- Develop and maintain resilience metrics, dashboards, and Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to provide transparency into operational risk exposure.
- Support oversight of Crisis Management and Incident Response across the firm.
- Assist in response coordination during material operational incidents and perform post-incident analysis / After-Action Reviews to strengthen future response capabilities.
- Leverage Threat Intelligence resources to identify systemic themes or recurring vulnerabilities impacting the industry and escalate material risks through appropriate governance channels.
- Ability to quickly consume and analyze emerging and current events that may impact operations across the firm.
Requirements
Strong knowledge of Operational Resilience frameworks, Business Continuity Management, Disaster Recovery, and Crisis Management. Working knowledge of regulatory frameworks applicable to asset managers (e.g., SEC, DORA, NIST, ISO standards). CBCP, ABCP, CompTA SEC+, or other relevant resilience or risk certifications. Understanding of operational risk disciplines including risk assessment, risk taxonomy, issue management, and metrics development. Veterans welcomed: Experienced Non-Commissioned Officers or Officers are highly encouraged to apply. Experience in crisis management and detailed contingency planning are beneficial.

- Bachelor’s degree, with a graduate degree in a relevant field preferred.

Benefits
Annual base salary for this role is $150,000-$190,000. Salary is estimated for this role. Actual pay may be different. Discretionary Bonus: Role may be eligible to receive an annual discretionary bonus. Discretionary bonuses are determined by several factors including, but not limited to, firm, team, and individual performance.
