About the role
This is a key leadership post with operational and strategic management responsibility for a range of professions. The post holder will operate within the Renfrewshire management structure and will have responsibility for line management of staff within Rehabilitation and enablement service, hospital at home and HFRS. The role includes responsibility for recruitment, appraisal, continuing professional development, performance, delegated budget, clinical and corporate governance, staff accommodation and IM&T.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic leadership and operational management for RES, Hospital at Home and HFRS services.
- Accountable for the performance, resources and activity within their area of responsibility.
- Provide managerial input to the HSCP/Locality strategic structure.
- Actively contribute to the overall planning and management of Health and Social work services in Renfrewshire HSCP.
Requirements
Extensive clinical and leadership experience within a MDT or integrated teams is required. Extensive experience in operational and strategic management of health and social care services is essential.
Qualifications
A relevant healthcare qualification and a proven track record of leadership and management in a healthcare setting are required. Experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and a strong understanding of clinical governance principles are also essential.
Skills
The successful candidate will demonstrate excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills. They must be able to manage multiple priorities effectively and have the ability to lead and motivate a team.

Pay
The salary range for this role is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
