Operational Facilitator
About the role
NHS Ayrshire and Arran is seeking an enthusiastic and motivated individual to join the Ayrshire Urgent Care Service (AUCS) as an Operational Facilitator. This role requires collaboration, efficient handling of calls, and support for a timely appointment system.
Responsibilities
- Act as the single point of contact for incoming telephone enquiries from various professional teams.
- Ensure calls are directed to the correct pathway and managed according to service processes and priorities.
- Support the delivery of a timely and effective appointment system.
- Assist with the coordination of home visits.
- Provide dependable operational support and contribute to the smooth day-to-day running of AUCS.
Requirements
- UK Driving Licence is essential.
Qualifications
- Educated to SVQ Level 2 in Business Administration or equivalent relevant experience.
- Able to work well under pressure and maintain accuracy while delivering a high standard of support.
Benefits
The role offers a variety of shifts covering a 24-hour period, seven days a week, including public holidays. Applicants must be willing to work across all three Primary Care Treatment Centres: Ayrshire Central, Ayr Hospital, and Crosshouse Hospital.
Pay
- Post 1: £15 per hour
- Post 2: £10.11 per hour
- Post 3: £22.28 per hour
- Post 4: £7.50 per hour
Schedule
