About the role
The Ops Excellence Specialist I is responsible for applying Lean, Six Sigma and Project Management methodologies to deploy strategic projects aimed at reducing variation and eliminating waste within the Patient Access and Experience pillar. This includes harnessing technology and other innovations to improve the health of those we serve, focusing on exceptional patient/consumer experience and improved system performance. The Specialist will plan, lead, and manage complex and value-added projects.
Responsibilities
- Apply Lean, Six Sigma and Project Management methodologies to deploy strategic projects
- Harness technology and other innovations to improve patient/consumer experience and system performance
- Plan, lead, and manage complex and value-added projects
Requirements
- 3-5 years leadership experience required
- Bachelor’s Degree required
- Master’s degree preferred
- Trained as Lean Six Sigma Black or Green Belt (i.e. ASQ certification, GE Leadership Development Training, Cooper University Health Care or an Accredited University program)
- Change Agent trained desired
Qualifications
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential
- Meeting facilitation and project management skills are highly preferred

Pay
The New Jersey Pay Transparency Act requires disclosure of the pay range for this position. A salary offer will vary based on the job role, candidate experience, qualifications, internal pay equity and market data.
