Operational Excellence Manager (Pharmacy Operations)

Responsibilities

• Drive initiatives that improve pharmacy operational efficiency, quality, and scalability.
• Identify bottlenecks, redundancies, and automation opportunities.
• Document end-to-end workflows and partner with Product and Engineering to implement process enhancements into the product platform.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives from concept through delivery, ensuring timely execution and alignment with organizational goals.
• Translate business needs into actionable plans and support the rollout of new workflows, offerings, and features.
• Build consensus, track progress, and maintain clear communication across teams.
• Use data to guide decisions and measure the impact of operational initiatives.
• Develop key performance metrics, analyze trends, and conduct root-cause analysis on performance gaps.
• Collaborate with the team analyst to build dashboards and share insights that drive continuous improvement.
• Foster a culture of operational excellence through standardized documentation, clear metrics, and continuous improvement.
• Define and demonstrate what “good” looks like, driving adoption of best practices across Pharmacy Operations.

Must-Have Qualifications

• Experience: 5+ years in pharmacy operations, healthcare operations, or process improvement; experience leading cross-functional initiatives in a high-growth or healthcare environment preferred.
• Project Management: Proven ability to plan and execute multiple initiatives from concept to completion, managing timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder alignment.
• Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable process improvements; experience with Google Sheets, SQL, and/or BI tools.
• Process Improvement: Familiarity with Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies; skilled at documenting workflows and standardizing processes.
• Technical Fluency: Proficiency with Google Workspace tools (Sheets, Slides, App Script) and comfort with light technical solutioning or automation.
• Communication & Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to influence and align cross-functional teams.
• Adaptability: Thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with shifting priorities; able to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution.
