Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and analyze standard costs
- Monitor inventory valuation and perform inventory reconciliations
- Analyze production, labor, and inventory variances
- Reconcile inventory and metal accounts
- Serve as a key partner to both finance and operations
- Support cycle counts and physical inventories
- Perform month-end close activities and journal entries
- Afford assistance with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives
- Support internal and external audit processes
- Conduct product costing and profitability analysis
- Partner with operations teams to improve reporting and decision-making
- Develop financial analysis to support business performance
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2+ years of manufacturing, cost accounting, or inventory accounting experience preferred
- Strong understanding of inventory and cost accounting principles
- Experience with month-end close and general ledger accounting
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills
- Advanced Excel skills preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with both finance and operations teams
