Operation Staff | Part-Time | Pan American Center

Responsibilities

• Responsible for correct set up and tear down for events
• Flexible hours - daytime, late evening, overnight and early morning hours
• Maintains in a clean and presentable manner
• Keeps all areas in safe, clean condition
• Keeps front entrance and outside areas clean and trash picked up
• Converts the facility from one event to the next
• Cleans and maintains needs of the facility

Qualifications

• Some knowledge of a variety of building and other trades including electric, plumbing, small engine, and carpentry
• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools for the safe and effective maintenance and repair of arena facilities and equipment
• Ability to understand and follow both oral and written instructions
• Strong communication skills in English, both verbally and in writing

About The Venue

Pan American Center is a multi-purpose arena in Las Cruces, New Mexico, located on the campus of New Mexico State University. The arena has a current seating capacity of 12,515 people. It serves as the home of the New Mexico State Aggies Men’s and Women’s Basketball and Woman’s Volleyball Teams.
