Responsibilities

  • Ensures the development of systems and procedures for managing operations, equipment, and products in a safe and profitable manner in accordance with company policies, guidelines, and procedures.
  • Manages operations to meet prescribed productivity and service goals. Complies with terms outlined in client SLAs.
  • Drives company Continuous Improvement efforts and provides ideas and suggestions for more efficient operations and on-going cost savings measures.
  • Maintains high degree of motivation in team members to retain focus of providing highest levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Supports adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Conducts routine staff meetings to review daily/weekly work activities.
  • Manages warehouse operations supervisors & support staff.

Requirements

  • Must have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
  • 7 years’ experience working in a logistics/distribution/relevant environment.
  • 5 years’ experience in a supervisory role.
  • Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse during the warmer and colder months can range from mild to moderate.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Work, and Power Point).
  • Demonstrated proficiency in knowledge of applicable WMS systems.
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and accomplish job tasks in a timely manner.
  • Good organizational and personnel skills.
  • Good communication skills, written and oral.
  • Good leadership, supervision, and planning skills.
  • Able to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends, as required by the operation.

Skills & Abilities

  • Education & Experience: High school diploma or GED, bachelor’s degree preferred; 7 years’ experience in logistics/distribution, 5 years’ supervisory experience.
  • Computer Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Work, and Power Point); demonstrated proficiency in knowledge of applicable WMS systems.
  • Language Skills: English (reading, writing, verbal).
  • Other: Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and accomplishment of job tasks in a timely manner; good organizational and personnel skills; good communication skills, both written and oral; good leadership, supervision, and planning skills; ability to work flexible schedules, including nights and weekends; ability to adapt to change and thrive in a stimulating, fast-paced work environment.

Pay

The expected base pay range for this position is $86,000.00 – $106,000.00 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors.

Schedule

This will be an overnight Operations Manager position. The hours will be 6pm - 6:30am working a 3/12 - 4/12 schedule. 3 days on 4 days off, and then the following week would be 4 days on 3 days off.
