Operation Maintenance Coordinator (OMC - Pulp) - Ti - Pulp Mill
Responsibilities
- Filters, prioritizes and coordinates all maintenance work orders
- Covers communication and feedback to department personnel regarding work notifications and requests
- Coordinates and communicates with maintenance and planners
- Produces Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Works with maintenance to ensure all work orders receive timely rough cost estimates
- Ensures operations has effective lock-out/tag-out procedures
- Provides support for day-to-day troubleshooting and product quality
- Participates in pulp mill reliability initiatives
- Directs housekeeping and 5S activities in the area
Qualifications
- Minimum of 5 years of pulp and paper experience or bachelors in engineering with at least 2 years of equivalent experience
- Strong understanding of the Pulp department- safety environmental, costs, quality and customers
- Experience and knowledge of wood yard and caustic operations and PSM (Process Safety Management), preferred not required
- Demonstrated ability to manage and coordinate multiple tasks, an understanding of team concepts, a demonstrated ability to work in a team environment, as well as an established skill to execute work based on standards and procedures
- Demonstrated ability to enforce accountability
- Proven Safety Leadership Skills
- Demonstrated competence to work: With minimum supervision, With all levels of mill management, Strong technical and troubleshooting skills
