Operating Technician Batchmaker - Night Shift
This position is an essential part of Sherwin-Williams’ manufacturing team, following detailed processing instructions to pre-batch and blend raw materials into industrial or architectural colorant. The role involves various manufacturing tasks and maintaining a safe, clean, and productive working environment.

Responsibilities
- Select, pull, measure, and stage raw materials for manufacturing
- Follow batch slip instructions to incorporate raw materials in high-speed mixers to blend batches
- Make lab adjustments, incorporate approved samples, and maintain raw material samples from daily premixes
- Operate paint-making control systems and manufacturing equipment (e.g., high-speed dispersers, pumps, valves, battery chargers, drum handling equipment, forklifts) safely and efficiently
- Monitor raw materials and finished goods for quality
- Comply with policies and standard operating procedures
- Maintain equipment logs, perform minor repairs, and report breakdowns promptly
- Keep production records and reporting as required
- Collaborate with other departments to complete production orders on time
- Monitor and replenish inventory of parts and supplies
- Provide technical support and training to other team members
- Contribute ideas to improve or optimize manufacturing procedures
- Keep tools, equipment, and the work environment clean and organized daily
Requirements
- Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age
- Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment without needing sponsorship for an employment work visa now or in the future
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- At least one (1) year of experience in a manufacturing and/or distribution facility
- At least one (1) year of experience monitoring gauges, dials, or other machinery indicators
- At least one (1) year of experience operating machinery in a manufacturing and/or distribution environment
- At least one (1) year of experience monitoring the quality of raw materials and/or finished goods
- At least one (1) year of experience using material handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, order pickers, vacu-hoists, drum dollies, conveyor belts)
- At least one (1) year of experience mixing or blending raw materials in an industrial batch process
Schedule
Night Shift: Alternating weeks of 36 hours (Week one) and 48 hours (Week two), 6:00 PM to 6:30 AM.

Pay
Compensation is dependent on experience, skills, and other factors. The wage range for this role reflects considerations such as geographic location, business needs, and individual qualifications.
A performance-based bonus may also be available under the Company’s applicable plans.
