About the role
The Operating Room Technician is responsible for the management of the Sterile Field during the surgical procedure and accompanying duties.
Responsibilities
- Manage the Sterile Field during surgical procedures.
- Work in collaboration with a team including Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, Nurse Anesthetists, Circulating Nurses, and Scrub Nurses or Certified Scrub Technicians.
- Provide surgical care in a sterile environment.
Requirements
- High School graduate or equivalent.
- Graduate of an approved Operating Room Technician Program or one year of Operating Room experience.
- Current BLS certification.
Qualifications
- One year of technician experience.
