Operating Room Surgical Technologist CVOR
About the Role
As an Operating Room Surgical Technologist (CVOR) at HCA Florida Northwest Hospital, you will demonstrate knowledge of surgical instruments and principles of sterile technique. You will anticipate the needs of the surgical suite within the scope of the position’s competencies using critical thinking. You will adhere to hospital policies and procedures, work under the supervision of the Registered Nurse, and collaborate with the surgical team to improve customer satisfaction. This is a supportive role implemented as the needs of the department require.
Qualifications
- Graduate from a Surgical Technician Program (Vocational/Technical)
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Minimum of one to three years of surgery tech experience preferred
