Operating Room Support Specialist, VNS - Part Time (Denver)

About the role

LivaNova Neuromodulation is seeking an Operating Room Support Specialist to join their team. This position offers a unique opportunity to support the implantation of the Vagus Nerve Stimulator (VNS) Therapy System, which is FDA-approved for the treatment of refractory epilepsy.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with neurosurgeons, epileptologists, and nurses to provide case coverage for the VNS Therapy System
• Support Operating Room staff with product-related matters intraoperatively, including VNS diagnostics, troubleshooting, and programming assistance
• Gain or maintain knowledge of the VNS Therapy System through training provided at the Houston corporate office and procedural training as needed
• Travel requirements are limited, with occasional overnight stays
• Visit hospital facilities regularly to ensure compliance with hospital credentialing and access requirements
• Maintain all required immunizations for healthcare employment

Requirements

• BS/BA degree or clinical technical/operating room environment experience
• Ability to project a positive image
• Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office software
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and nonverbal skills
• Maintain all required immunizations for healthcare employment

Qualifications

• Available to work with short notice, 1-2 days per week, no more than 29 hours a week
• Reside within the designated territory

Pay

A reasonable estimate of the hourly rate for this position is $60 per hour. Pay ranges may vary by location.
