Operating Room Support Specialist, VNS - Part Time (Denver)

About the role

LivaNova Neuromodulation seeks to hire an Operating Room Support Specialist to support the VNS Therapy System. This role involves collaborating with neurosurgeons, epileptologists, and nurses to provide case coverage for the VNS Therapy System, which is FDA-approved for treating refractory epilepsy.

Responsibilities

• Gain or know the local hospitals
• Be available to work with short notice 1-2 days, no more than 29 hours a week
• Reside within the territory
• Understand the implantation, operating room, and credentialing process
• Support Operating Room staff in product-related matters intraoperatively, including VNS diagnostics, troubleshooting, and programming assistance
• Maintain all required necessary immunizations for healthcare employment as described above

Requirements

• BS/BA degree or clinical technical/operating room environment experience
• Ability to project a positive image
• Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office software
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills and nonverbal skills to communicate in the OR

Pay

A reasonable estimate of the hourly rate for this position is $60 per hour. Pay ranges may vary by location.
