Operating Room RN - Sign-On Bonus Eligible

Role Overview: This position involves providing direct patient care in the perioperative environment, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation according to nursing standards. The role requires educating patients and families about surgical procedures and serving as a liaison between physicians and patients. Key Responsibilities: Demonstrate competence in scrubbing and/or circulating for various surgical services, ensuring safety and proper setup of instruments and supplies.Maintain patient safety by preventing adverse events and observing for complications during procedures.Participate in safety, quality, and regulatory compliance activities, including professional development and mentoring new staff. Qualifications & Skills: Minimum of a Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree and 2-5 years of OR nursing experience.Current RN license; preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, CNOR certification, and completion of Periop 101 training.
