Role Overview
Sought is an Operating Room Nurse with 2+ years of experience to deliver exceptional patient care in a dynamic surgical setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Educate patients and families on procedures, expectations, and available support resources, serving as a bridge between medical professionals and patients.
- Demonstrate proficiency in scrubbing and circulating roles across diverse surgical disciplines.
- Prepare and assist during surgeries using safe practices, arranging instruments and supplies while ensuring patient safety against complications like infections or adverse events.
- Involvement in safety, quality, and regulatory initiatives, including ongoing professional growth and mentorship of newer staff members.
Qualifications & Skills
- Minimum RN license with a Nursing Diploma or Associate's degree; Bachelor's degree preferred.
- At least 2 years of perioperative nursing experience; Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) certification and additional training (Periop 101, Mastery Test Out) are advantageous.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and collaborative abilities.
