Operating Room Circulator

About the role

The Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) at Memorial Hermann Surgery Center, Woodlands Parkway is responsible for providing nursing care and service during surgery cases. Specifically, the Circulating RN will position, prep, and circulate patients through surgical procedures.

Responsibilities

• Position and prepare patients for surgery
• Circulate the operating room during surgical cases
• Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers as needed
• Maintain sterile field and ensure compliance with infection control protocols

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• Active RN license in the state
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center
• A minimum of 1 year experience working as a Circulator
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
