OPERATING ROOM AIDE

• Education: Official completion of high school or its equivalent.
• Skills and proficiency: Oral and written grammar, communication, and basic mathematics.
• Experience: Patient care technician practices, hospital policies and procedures, basic non-technical skills.

Physical: Normal hospital environment. Mobility, sight, hearing, verbal communication, changes in temperature. Exposure to unpleasant elements (dust, fumes, odors, water, etc.), exposure to biological, mechanical, electrical, and chemical hazards. Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching. Lifting up to 100lbs., carrying up to 40lbs., pushing/pulling up to 350lbs.
