Operating Room Assistant - Surgical
About the role
Under the general supervision of the Clinical Nurse Manager or Team Leader, the Operating Room Assistant is responsible for maintaining a clean and organized department. Assists nurses and anesthesia with either patient care or equipment needs; responsible for the ordering and stocking of supplies, transporting patients, and may include surgery scheduling.
Required Qualifications
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
Preferred Qualifications
- Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire
- 1 year of Surgical Services Department Support Position
Pay Range
$18.08 - $27.10 per hour. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
