Operating Director
About the role
Cornestone Caregiving, the largest privately owned in-home care company, seeks an exceptional Operating Director to lead the expansion of its New Bedford, MA branch. This role will play a pivotal role in driving the company's vision forward, supported by a homebase and a network of Operating Directors.
Responsibilities
Develop and execute a marketing plan to establish Cornerstone as the preferred in-home care provider.
Cultivate and manage relationships with referral partners (hospitals, hospices, senior living, etc.).
Hiring and onboarding new team members and ensuring all shifts are properly staffed. Monitor on-call responsibilities as calls come from clients, caregivers and partners.
Conduct in-home assessments to build strong client relationships and ensure client satisfaction.
Oversee office budget that is reflected in profit and loss statements.
Cultivate a culture where your team feels empowered and motivated.
Qualifications and Skills
A proven leader with previous experience managing a team.
Success with meeting sales and business development goals.
Ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced environment.
Entrepreneurial mindset.
Experience with direct recruitment, hiring and oversight of staff.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
