Job Summary
Bright Vision Technologies is seeking an experienced OpenShift Platform Engineer to design, deploy, and manage enterprise-grade Red Hat OpenShift platforms across on-premises and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in OpenShift, Kubernetes, Linux, automation, and CI/CD.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy, manage, and optimize Red Hat OpenShift clusters
- Automate cluster provisioning and lifecycle using Ansible, Terraform, Helm, and GitOps (Argo CD)
- Configure networking, storage, security, and multi-tenant environments
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Tekton, Jenkins, or Argo CD
- Implement monitoring, logging, disaster recovery, and platform security
- Collaborate with development teams and mentor junior engineers
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 5+ years of container platform experience, including 3+ years with Red Hat OpenShift
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes, OpenShift, Linux, and container networking
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (Ansible, Terraform, Helm)
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD, scripting (Bash, Python, or Go), and monitoring tools
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Red Hat OpenShift certification
- Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Knowledge of Service Mesh (Istio, Linkerd)
- Knowledge of GitOps and regulated environments (HIPAA, PCI-DSS, SOC 2)
