Responsibilities
- Lead development and coordination of 3D utility models in OpenRoads, including complex vertical geometry, utility crossings, and conflict resolution with roadway and drainage elements.
- Collaborate with technical and design teams to develop, implement, and maintain company-wide BIM standards, procedures, and protocols.
- Interface directly with clients and STV engineers to define CAD deliverables, ensuring projects are executed as per agreed-upon CAD protocols.
- Establish and maintain model-driven plan and profile sheets using OpenRoads drawing and sheet models, ensuring consistency throughout design revisions.
- Mentor and provide technical oversight to junior designers and EITs in ORD workflows and standards.
- Troubleshoot complex OpenRoads modeling and sheet production issues, providing solutions that balance software capability, standards compliance, and project schedules.
Requirements
- 6+ years of AEC industry experience with a strong focus on Microstation/ORD utility relocation design.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to participate in cross-functional teams.
- Ability to solve problems and carry out responsibilities with minimal supervision.
- Work on multiple projects simultaneously under aggressive timelines.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
Preferred But Not Required
- Professional Bentley ORD certifications.
- Understanding of construction scheduling and estimating.
- Proficiency in Autodesk Civil 3D and/or Revit.
Pay
Compensation Range: $104,402.58 - $119,317.24
