Requirements
Shift Managers lead shifts every week, ensuring customers receive a fast, accurate, friendly experience. They provide leadership to crew and other managers during a shift to maintain high Quality, Service, and Cleanliness standards. Shift Managers are responsible for planning each shift, monitoring performance, ensuring compliance with McDonald’s standards, managing safety and security, and communicating with the next Shift Manager to prepare them for their shift. They may also be responsible for meeting targets during their shifts and assisting their assigned Departments in achieving their goals.

Responsibilities
Shift Managers perform a variety of tasks, including planning for each shift, monitoring performance during the shift, taking action to ensure the team meets McDonald’s standards, monitoring safety, security, and profitability, and communicating with the next Shift Manager to help prepare them to run a great shift. They may also be responsible for meeting targets during their shifts and for helping their assigned Departments meet their goals.

Qualifications
A Shift Manager requires previous leadership experience, preferably within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment. Positive team players with a flexible schedule who enjoy working in the fast-paced McDonald’s environment are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be 18 years or older to be considered for management positions in corporate-owned and operated restaurants.
