Open Source AI Engineer (Typescript)

About the role

This role will lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a technology-driven environment.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Design and open-source new libraries, pipelines, and APIs for LLM observability
• Collaborate with the AI open source community to gather feedback and guide projects
• Prototype and iterate on advanced LLM techniques into practical tools
• Integrate features with the existing platform for enhanced LLM behavior insights
• Create educational content such as blog posts and tutorials for developers

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with large language models (LLM) frameworks
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript for seamless coding across platforms
• Track record of contributions to open source projects
• Familiarity with machine learning observability and tools
• Engagement in developer communities with active GitHub repos

Pay

$185,000 – $200,000 annually
