About the role

We're looking for experienced Frontend TypeScript Engineers in Singapore to review, evaluate, and guide AI-generated code — helping cutting-edge AI models understand what truly type-safe, scalable, and modern web development looks like. This is a fully remote, flexible contract role. You'll work alongside leading AI research teams, applying your real-world frontend knowledge to tasks that have a lasting impact on how AI understands and produces TypeScript code. Organization: Alignerr. Type: Hourly Contract. Location: Remote. Commitment: 10–40 hours/week.

Responsibilities

  • Review AI-generated TypeScript code for strict type safety, accurate interface design, and correct generic usage
  • Develop complex, type-safe frontend components that demonstrate best practices in modern web architecture
  • Provide detailed technical commentary on architectural decisions and type-driven development strategies
  • Identify and flag ambiguities or errors in AI responses related to complex type definitions and asynchronous frontend patterns
  • Work independently and asynchronously — fully on your own schedule

Requirements

  • Deep expertise in TypeScript — including static typing, generics, interfaces, and utility types
  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience with modern frontend or full-stack frameworks such as React, Angular, Next.js, Nuxt.js, or Node.js
  • Strong written and verbal communicator who can clearly articulate technical reasoning
  • Naturally detail-oriented with a high standard for code quality and correctness
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science or a related field preferred

Benefits

  • Work on cutting-edge AI projects alongside leading research labs
  • Fully remote and flexible — work when and where it suits you
  • Freelance autonomy with the structure of meaningful, task-based work
  • Make a direct, tangible impact on how AI understands and writes modern TypeScript
  • Potential for ongoing work and contract extension as new projects launch

Schedule

The role offers a flexible schedule with a commitment of 10–40 hours per week, allowing you to work asynchronously on your own schedule.
