About the role
The PKD Therapeutics and Translational Biology Laboratory at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is seeking a highly motivated Research Services Laboratory Sciences Professional to join our growing team focused on developing innovative therapies for autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease (ADPKD).
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with and support Principal Investigators and other stakeholders with laboratory and research functions.
- Perform experiments and analyze research data using standard molecular and cellular biology techniques.
- Support analytical testing processes including sample preparation, preservation, and documentation of results.
- Independently develop and implement new or modified laboratory techniques required for research projects.
- Review, complete, and process laboratory logs, documents, databases, and related materials and information.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and laboratory safety protocols.
Requirements
- Entry Level: Bachelor’s degree in biology, molecular biology, chemistry, genetics or related field. One (1) year professional level research experience.
- Intermediate Level: Bachelor’s degree in biology, molecular biology, chemistry, genetics or related field. Two (2) years of experience in an experimental or wet laboratory.
Qualifications
- Minimum Qualifications: Entry Level - Bachelor’s degree in biology, molecular biology, chemistry, genetics or related field. One (1) year professional level research experience. Intermediate Level - Bachelor’s degree in biology, molecular biology, chemistry, genetics or related field. Two (2) years of experience in an experimental or wet laboratory.
- Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in biology, molecular biology, chemistry, genetics or related field. Two (2) years of experience in an experimental or wet laboratory.

Pay
- Starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as: Entry Level - $47,811 – $55,939. Intermediate Level - $52,030 – $60,875.
