Non-tenure track faculty position at the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University Bloomington, beginning fall 2027. Classification (Clinical or Lecturer) depends on experience.
About the role
The Finance Department seeks individuals to teach 18 credit hours annually, primarily at the undergraduate level but potentially including graduate courses. Candidates should be prepared for service commitments, such as leading undergraduate workshops or MBA-level academies and serving on department/school committees. The role involves collaboration with faculty, students, and corporate partners, with an expectation to grow into a leadership position in teaching programs.
Responsibilities
- Teach 18 credit hours per year, primarily undergraduate courses with potential graduate-level instruction.
- Fulfill service commitments, including leading workshops or academies and participating in department/school committees.
- Collaborate with faculty, students, and corporate partners.
- Develop into a leadership role within the department’s teaching programs.
Requirements
- For Clinical classification: PhD or doctoral degree in finance or related area (completed by August 2027) and finance industry experience.
- For Lecturer classification: Master’s degree in finance or related field at the time of hiring.
- At least one year of relevant industry experience, particularly in high-impact roles within Financial Services and/or Corporate Finance.
- Candidates with teaching experience in Fintech and Investments, or professional experience in these areas, are strongly encouraged to apply.
