Open Rank Clinical positions, Kelley School of Business (Operations and Decision Technologies, Information Systems)
Indiana University – Bloomington’s Kelley School of Business seeks an open-rank, non-tenure-track clinical faculty member in Information Systems (IS) to join the Operations and Decision Technologies (ODT) Department in Fall 2027.
About the role
The ODT Department houses the Information Systems, Operations Management, and Decision Sciences groups and delivers IS programs at the undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral levels. Kelley’s undergraduate IS program is ranked #6 and its graduate IS programs are ranked #8 by U.S. News & World Report. Clinical faculty are integral to the department and school, with opportunities to advance through the ranks and assume leadership roles within the school and university.
Responsibilities
- Teach information systems courses at the undergraduate and master’s levels, including:
- Enterprise systems
- Computer programming
- Database
- AI in Business
- Business Analytics
- Machine Learning / Deep Learning / Reinforcement Learning
- Advanced topics in AI
- Other technical courses
- Engage in research focused on IS pedagogy (desirable).
Requirements
- PhD, DBA, or ABD in information systems, computer science, information technology, or a closely related field (degree must be completed by August 2027).
- Professional experience in the field.
- Teaching experience at the undergraduate and/or graduate levels (preferred).
