About the role

The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Genetics & Metabolism, University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine, Tampa is seeking a physician who is Board Certified or eligible in Clinical Genetics for a full-time Clinical Faculty position at the Assistant Professor level or above.

Responsibilities

  • Provide inpatient consultative services for inborn errors of metabolism and general genetics at Tampa General Hospital and St. Joseph’s Children’s Hospital, as well as outpatient USF Health clinics.
  • Participate in research programs to expand the scholarly activities of the division. The incumbent will be encouraged to participate in clinical trials and other clinical research.
  • Participate in the education and training of medical students, residents, fellows and genetic counselor students.

Requirements

  • Medical degree from an accredited institution.
  • Candidates must be board certified or board eligible in Clinical Genetics and Genomics and be eligible for full unrestricted Florida Medical License.
  • Must meet university criteria for faculty appointment to the rank of assistant professor, associate or professor.
