The Department of Neurology in the Medical College of Georgia at Augusta University in Augusta, Georgia is actively seeking a faculty member at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor, as a board certified/board eligible full-time Neuropsychologist to join our faculty.
Qualifications
- Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology from an APA-accredited program.
- Completion of an APA-accredited internship with specialization in clinical neuropsychology.
- Completion of a two-year postdoctoral fellowship in Clinical Neuropsychology consistent with Houston Conference Guidelines.
- Board eligible or board certified in Clinical Neuropsychology through the American Board of Professional Psychology (ABPP).
- Demonstrated experience in neuropsychological assessment of patients with neurological and/or neurosurgical disorders.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary academic medical environment.
Requirements
- Consistent with the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC)'s requirements for institutional accreditation; Evidence of ability as a teacher; Evidence of activity as a scholar and ability in all other duties assigned; Successful experience (which will necessarily be waived for those just entering the academic profession who meet all other requirements); and, Desirable personal qualities judged on the basis of personal interview, complete biographical data, and recommendations.
