Open Rank-Advanced Endoscopy

About the role

The Department of Internal Medicine at University of South Florida, Morsani College of Medicine is seeking an Open Rank to perform Advanced Endoscopy/Gastroenterology services at the Morsani Center and Tampa General Hospital. This is a full-time 12-month salaried faculty appointment and carries with it attending staff privileges at Tampa General Hospital (TGH) and affiliated hospitals.

Responsibilities

• Provides Advanced Endoscopy and General GI ambulatory clinics, inpatient Call & Coverage, and endoscopy time.
• Teaching: Participation in clinical teaching for medical students, residents and fellows in clinic, endoscopy center and hospital ward settings.
• May represent the university, college/school, or department.

Qualifications

• Minimum: Doctoral/Medical degree from an accredited institution or the highest degree appropriate in the field of specialization with a demonstrated record of achievement in teaching, academic research, and service. Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor.
• Prior to appointment, must hold or be eligible for a full, unrestricted Florida Medical License or foreign equivalent required.
• Must be Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine/Gastroenterology.
