Open Radio Access Network Engineer - (O-RAN) - Only W2

About the role

The project aims to develop an Open Radio Access Network (O-RAN) networking infrastructure in an O-RAN compatible private 5G network deployment. It also involves co-developing User Equipment (UE)-side applications (xApps) with O-RAN-side radio resource control algorithms to demonstrate performance improvements through cross-layer optimizations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deploy O-RAN networking infrastructure
• Co-develop UE-side applications (xApps) with O-RAN-side radio resource control algorithms
• Demonstrate performance improvements through cross-layer optimizations

Requirements

• Strong C/C++ programming skills
• Experience with Open Radio Access Network deployment
• Experience with 5G Private Networks

Qualifications

• MS or PhD in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent
