Position Description
For the 2026-2027 academic year, the School of Education may have a need for temporary, part-time lecturers in its teacher credential and education sciences programs. Classes may be held in-person or online.
Service Period Dates For 2026-2027 Academic Year:
Fall Quarter: 9/21/26-12/11/26
Winter Quarter: 1/4/27 - 3/19/27
Spring Quarter: 3/24/27 – 6/11/27
Minimum Qualifications
- A master's degree
- A record of successful teaching experience
- Demonstrated expertise in the content of the course to be taught
- Rewarded experience may be considered
Desired Qualifications
- A doctoral degree in education or a field related to the course to be taught
- Teaching at University level
- Experienced in digital learning technologies and using Canvas as a learning management system

- Reflective Teaching Statement - A teaching statement that includes your philosophy of teaching and what drives good education
Qualifications
Basic qualifications (required at time of application):
A master's degree, a record of successful teaching experience, and demonstrated expertise in the content of the course to be taught. Relevant experience may be considered.
