About the role

HIGHLAND COUNTY COMMUNITY ACTION is seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Community Development Coordinator. The ideal candidate will have experience in community development, project management, and a passion for improving local communities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement community development projects that address local needs
• Collaborate with stakeholders to secure funding and resources for projects
• Oversee project budgets and timelines
• Monitor progress and evaluate outcomes of community development initiatives
• Communicate regularly with community members and partners to gather feedback and ensure project success

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., urban planning, public administration)
• At least 3 years of experience in community development or related field
• Strong project management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with grant writing and proposal development
• Knowledge of local government processes and procedures

Pay

Salary range: $45,000 - $55,000 annually

Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
