Open Enrollment Specialist (Part time)
About the Role
The Open Enrollment Specialist will represent Curative and lead educational sessions on benefits being offered to Curative clients, including new and renewed groups through virtual and in-person meetings. They will coordinate with brokers and client administrators once open enrollment dates are established, working directly with Sales Executives, Account Executives, the client’s broker, and employer representatives to ensure clients receive the highest level of education about Curative plans.
Available in the following locations: Atlanta, GA; Jacksonville, Orlando, Tampa, Miami, FL; Dallas, Austin, Houston, San Antonio, El Paso/The Valley, TX.
Responsibilities
- Develop and enhance relationships with assigned clients, brokers, and consultants.
- Coordinate and conduct Open Enrollment meetings, both in-person and virtually, to ensure current and prospective members understand Curative products and services, enabling them to make informed benefit selections.
- Travel timely to locations for in-person meetings or conduct timely virtual meetings.
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes to provide clients with insightful, initiative-taking advice.
- Support the Care Navigation team in coordinating and promoting Baseline visits.
- Provide feedback to assigned Account Executives/Implementation Managers to track, trend, and enhance communication tools.
Requirements
- 5 years of experience in conducting Open Enrollment meetings.
- State Health, Life, and Variable Annuity license.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent presentation skills across diverse audiences.
- Broad knowledge of the healthcare industry, business practices, trends, and developments.
- Experience interfacing at all levels internally, with clients, brokers, consultants, and external partners.
- Punctual and professional demeanor.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and planning skills.
- Proficient in MS Office, Google Workspace, and Adobe.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Schedule
This is a part-time, hourly, demand-driven position. Working hours are not guaranteed and will fluctuate significantly, typically ranging from 0–5 hours in the first weeks of the first and second quarters, with extended hours up to 30 in the fourth quarter. Travel within your region will be required approximately 75% of the time.
