Open Education: Adjunct Faculty
About the role
The International Center of Photography, a leader in photography and lens-based media education, is interested in hearing from candidates wishing to join ICP’s Adjunct Faculty within Open Education (ICP's continuing education offer for adults). ICP seeks to introduce our photography and media students to a broad range of professional perspectives including those of practicing photographers and artists, curators, theorists, writers, and cultural catalysts. Resources available to teachers and classes include the museum’s active exhibition and programming as well the school’s state of the art facilities, our collection and archive of over 200,000 images, and library of 40,000 photo books. Candidates should familiarize themselves with the courses and current offerings of Open Education and consider how they might propose new courses that complement current offerings or how they may teach current core courses. Submissions will be reviewed by ICP Open Education programming staff on a rolling basis throughout the year.
