Op Tech

Main Tasks

• Affix, adjust, and operate machinery to manufacture goods or components according to specifications.
• Clean, service, and perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in good condition.
• Monitor machines during operation to ensure they function correctly and carry out necessary repairs.
• Identify and address issues with machines, contributing to the optimization of production processes.
• Administer operational processes and document machine performance accurately.
• Ensure products are produced at acceptable quality levels.
• Changeover equipment efficiently and produce products within acceptable quality standards.
• Conduct SPC checks and maintain quality documentation.
• Determine if equipment is operating below standard and follow Bill of Materials (BOM) to produce products on schedule.
• Maintain process scrap levels within acceptable limits.
• Perform 5S duties, including preventative maintenance on equipment.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

  Requirements

  • Knowledge of proper use of hand tools.
  • Ability to use and measure with precision using tools such as calipers and micrometers.
  • Ability to troubleshoot equipment and identify the root cause of malfunctions.
  • Positive and professional demeanor while performing job duties.
  • Occasional overtime may be required to meet production demands.
  • Maintain an acceptable attendance record to ensure timely work completion.
  • Knowledge of and adherence to the current Quality and Environmental System requirements relevant to this job.
  • Technical training or certification.
