OOMA/Logset Logistician

About the role
The OOMA/Logset Logistician will provide Contractor Support Services to the Navy’s E-6 Fleet Support Team (FST) and CSCW-1 at Tinker AFB, OK.
Responsibilities
- Provide logistics support analysis to Fleet inquiries
- Manage all Aviation Life Support Systems (ALSS) paperwork and logsets for all ALSS gear in the E-6 Community
- Compile and process aviation flight and maintenance line data from Optimized Organizational Maintenance Activity (OOMA) Naval Aviation Logistics Command Management Information System (NALCOMIS) into easy-to-read narrative and metrics for maintenance managers
- Perform extensive source data queries from OOMA database through DECKPLATE and NALCOMIS ADHOC programs for trend analysis, component failure rates, material usage, manpower expended, and effective documentation processes
- Respond to technical, logistics support analysis, and supportability questions from fleet and other E-6 community personnel
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in operational logistics support/maintenance engineering
- Bachelor’s degree in business, science, mathematics, logistics, supply chain management, or other related field (or high school diploma/equivalent with 6 additional years of acquisition or operational logistics management)
- In-depth experience in conducting technical analysis of ILS requirements relating to configuration and inventory management applicable to the E-6 aircraft
- Extensive knowledge of aircraft and engine logbooks in accordance with COMNAVAIRFORINST 4790.2
- Extensive experience with OOMA configuration management
- Extensive experience researching WUC/TEC and part number for correct update of the E-6 baseline including engines, SE, and ALSS
- In-depth experience using NALCOMIS and DECKPLATE
Preferred Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in Aircraft Maintenance Logs and Records, as well as Configuration Management
Work Authorization/Security Clearance
- U.S. Citizen
- Currently hold or be able to obtain a Secret Clearance

$21.50–$39.00 per hour
