Logistician

About the Role

Entarian is seeking a Logistician to support the Naval Information Warfare Center Atlantic (NIWC Atlantic) Expeditionary Enterprise Systems and Services (E2S2) Division. NIWC Atlantic provides design, acquisition, and sustainment services for Marine Corps Systems Command (MCSC) Information Technology (IT) systems. Other duties as assigned by leadership.

Responsibilities

• Material management (shipping, receiving, movement between locations, etc.)
• Inventory control (counts, issuing, maintaining stock)
• Review and analyze records in inventory management systems (GCSS-MC, CMPro, etc.)
• Contribute to the design and fabrication of test specimens
• Prepare shop drawings for model construction using computer-aided drafting (CAD)
• Ensure products/services and processes meet quality and safety standards
• Test equipment to ensure effective and safe operation
• Maintain proactive communication with leadership to ensure alignment and support decision-making

Requirements

• Active Secret Level Clearance
• High School diploma/GED, related military experience, or trade/industrial school graduate
• 5 years of professional experience solving technical problems
• Training in engineering and/or software design/maintenance
• Practical understanding of engineering concepts
• Experience with material specifications and fabrication methods
• Familiarity with MS Office suite, especially Excel
• Exceptional communication and active listening skills

Qualifications

• Trained in the skills and techniques related to engineering and/or software design/maintenance
• Ability to interpret plans and drawings
• Experience in computer-aided drafting (CAD)

Schedule

On-site 5 days a week in Bldg. 198 with 1 day optional telework. Core hours are 0900 - 1500.
