Onsite Warehouse Manager - Pallet Services

About the Role

As a Warehouse Manager (On-Site Manager), you’ll manage an entire site within a customer’s distribution center. You’ll build and maintain the customer relationship, oversee all operations, and ensure high employee satisfaction for your team of 3–25 associates across multiple shifts.

Responsibilities

• Manage all administrative and manufacturing employees, including scheduling, workload coordination, and performance monitoring.
• Communicate goals, maintain quality and safety standards, and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Train and develop associates, assist with the new hire process alongside HR, and manage local employee relations issues.
• Analyze site data to drive continuous operational improvements and draft reports, correspondence, and procedural manuals.
• Present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the public.
• Monitor employee performance and workload to meet expectations.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in retail management, distribution, supply chain, or manufacturing environments.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience.
• Retail/service industry experience is ideal.
• Proficient in MS Office products.
• Forklift Certification required.
• Valid driver’s license for required travel.
• Knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) preferred.
• Spanish language skills are a plus in many locations.

Work Environment

• Ability to work in extreme conditions (heat, cold, air particulate).
• Repetitive body movements (bending, stooping, walking, turning, pivoting, standing for entire shifts).
• Forklift operation requiring prolonged sitting.
• Noise levels vary by location; Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required (eye protection, ear protection at some sites, safety shoes).
• Specific vision abilities required (close, distance, and color vision).
• May be required to lift pallets by hand (50–75 lbs).

Pay

USD $65,000.00 – $75,000.00 per year.
