Onsite Virtual Registered Nurse
About the Role
The Onsite Virtual Registered Nurse (OVRN) provides safe and age-appropriate supportive patient care in a virtual setting. The OVRN serves as a vital resource for bedside staff, patients, and their families, working in partnership with direct care nursing staff and other members of the patient care team. Responsibilities include new admissions, clinical assessments, care plans, patient education, discharge planning, and teaching.
Responsibilities
- Provides and conducts initial and ongoing clinical assessments suitable for a virtual setting, including obtaining patient history and objective and subjective data.
- Provides and documents patient education based on established care plans.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of bedside nursing experience in the adult inpatient setting (1-3 years total experience).
- Nursing Degree.
- Current Maryland Registered Nurse License or eligibility to obtain one.
Preferred Qualifications
- AHA Basic Life Support Certification.
Pay
Pay range: $37.15 to $57.58 per hour, based on experience.
