About the role
The ORR Training Manager will oversee ORR staff training, ensure compliance with policies and guidelines, and audit staff records.
Responsibilities
- Oversight of all aspects of staff training and designated student training for the site(s) for which this position is responsible.
- Scheduling, overseeing, and providing opportunities for required annual and continued staff training.
- Conducting New Hire Orientation Training, Annual Recertification Training, Essential Subjects, and On The Job Training.
- Identifying employees on correction/improvement plans and providing additional training.
- Compiling, logging, filing, and submitting treatment and training documentation for Key Performance Indicators.
- Maintaining the highest standards to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct and ensure compliance with agency licensing and Rite of Passage policies and procedures.
- Assisting other staff members with emergency situations.
- Conducting and facilitating site tours, if required.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required.
- One year of related experience.
- Must hold instructor certifications in CPR/First Aid, PPC, Crisis Intervention Techniques, Suicide Prevention, Treatment Topics, Essential Subjects, and JIREH certified (if required).
- Familiarity with ROP procedures, policies, and program implementation.
- Working knowledge of the Positive Operational Culture program.
- Good interpersonal skills including the ability to interview potential employees if required.
- Strong knowledge of overall company operations and policies and procedures.
- Ability to pass a criminal background clearance check, drug screen, physical, and TB test.
- Ability to perform work with little or no supervision.
- Ability to utilize resources available to complete assigned projects.
- Ability to prepare written reports and correspondence.
- Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions.
- Able to work in excess of 40 hours per week with the possibility of a varied schedule.
- Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Able to build and maintain positive internal and external relationships.
