Division: Consumer Products Services, Entity: ATL – Plainfield, IN. Reports to: Manager. FLSA: Non-exempt.

About the role

The Distribution Operator III is responsible for order processing functions such as picking, packing and shipping pharmaceutical orders to sales reps, wholesalers, and retailers. Distribution Operators rotate through a variety of roles related to performing these functions.

Responsibilities

  • Support and engage in safety culture and the safety of others.
  • Receive and ship materials, store material in appropriate locations.
  • Pick, pack, prepare, and ship customer orders; process orders in warehouse inventory system; perform cycle counting.
  • Adhere to site safety policies and procedures; contribute to a safe work environment.
  • Demonstrate safety as a top priority and follow procedures accurately.
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures and current Good Manufacturing Practices to ensure product quality.
  • Identify opportunities for operational improvements.
  • Follow and execute policies and procedures impacting warehouse activities.
  • Meet performance improvement goals as defined by area leadership.
  • Maintain a 100% current learning plan.
  • Seek improvements in productivity, compliance, and data accuracy.
  • Operate two or more types of Power Industrial Equipment (PIT).
  • Cross-train to perform multiple assignments.
  • Follow guidelines set forth by clients and company Quality, Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental policies.
  • Comply with client and company management systems in accordance with regulatory agencies.
  • Adhere to requirements of the Quality System.
  • Perform other duties as defined by Manager or department needs.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a Distribution Warehouse environment, including:
    • SAP Exacta Warehouse Management system (SAP/S4P/Exacta systems).
    • Operating a variety of Powered Industrial Trucks (Swing reach truck, Stand-up, cherry picker, Rider pallet jack, and Sit-down).
    • Working with an electronic warehouse management system (EWM) such as SAP, Exacta, and RF scanners.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be accepted.
  • Must be willing to work a portion of the workday in a chilled environment (36-46°F).
  • Standing, lifting (up to 40 lbs.), and bending are required.
  • Must successfully enroll in the Medical Surveillance screening program, including completing a physical certification to perform job duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

Schedule

Typically, Sunday through Thursday, 11:15 AM – 8:00 PM until 9/1/26, then 1:00 PM – 10:00 PM. Must be flexible to meet business needs or cover shifts as requested. Must be willing to work overtime with little or no notice.

Pay

Compensation range: $22–$27 an hour.
