About the role

The Onsite Shift Supervisor is responsible for supervising, coordinating, and supporting daily operations to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the onsite by-product management system at the facility. This role involves assisting with the development and implementation of solutions for onsite waste and recycling processes, maintaining professional interactions with client associates, and managing other projects as designated by the Program Manager to ensure close client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Health & Safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
• Report to the Onsite Program Manager and work closely with other personnel to ensure proper operations of equipment are maintained.
• Troubleshoot and problem-solve to maintain a high standard of safety and production.
• Conduct daily operational and equipment inspections.
• Oversee daily operations for sorting, handling, and processing of plant by-products.
• Oversee the safe and efficient operation of employees assigned to the operation.
• Complete daily waste-tracking forms and activity reports.
• Maintain professional interaction with supplier subcontractors working for Envita Solutions.
• Engage professionally with all members of the client's workforce.
• Assist with the implementation of new processes, including training and auditing of assigned employees.
• Communicate effectively with both the client and Envita team.
• Provide assistance and education to the client's employees on aspects of waste, reuse, and recycling programs.
• Assist the Program with MRO and business development opportunities as assigned by the manager.
• Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned, including continuous growth in alignment with the Company’s core values, competencies, and skills.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent (required).
• 1+ years of Supervisor experience in a manufacturing, distribution, or recycling facility (preferred).

Skills

• This is a safety-sensitive position; the ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner is essential.
• Basic business writing and computer skills.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is beneficial.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and responsibilities for completion.
