Bright Futures Psychiatry is expanding again and looking for a passionate full-time, onsite, PMHNP to join our team. We are a 100% PMHNP female owned practice, founded by an Air Force Veteran, and located in the beautiful Broadmoor area of Colorado Springs. What You’ll Do Clinical Responsibilities Diagnose and treat common, acute psychiatric problems, illness, and crises.Provides psychopharmacologic management.Provides supportive psychotherapy. Documents in AdvancedMD EHR within 72 hours from time of service. Maintains workstations, client rooms, and examination areas in a manner consistent with OSHA standards and Universal Precautions procedures.Ensure compliance with clinical documentation standards, maintaining timely and accurate records in the EHR.Participates in continuing education to continually improve skills and abilities and stays abreast of current technologies and practices.Maintain all applicable certifications (i.e. DEA, CO RN, APRN, and RXN, BLS).Apply safety principles as per organizational policies and procedures.Ensures compliance with legal issues- including but not limited to client confidentiality and risk management according to federal, state, and local regulations.Adjusts to fluctuating peaks in client flow, acuity, and other operation demands while maintaining quality high-quality care delivery. Administrative Responsibilities Demonstrate excellent communication skills with all team members and assist as needed to ensure a smooth operation.Schedule client appointments and manage the client flow within the office.Maintain accurate office and department records.Utilize EHR, phone systems, and other necessary technology tools to enhance clinic operations. Other Duties Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.Be punctual and reliable, showing commitment to working as part of a team.Assist team members and the office as needed, offering flexibility in support of colleagues.Must possess good judgment, attention to detail, and ability to make sound decisions.Strong organizational skills and flexibility to handle shifting priorities.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality.Perform other duties as assigned. Physical Demands and Work Environment Frequently required to stand.Frequently required to walk.Frequently required to sit or utilize a combination of sit/stand workstations.Frequent use of hand and finger dexterity.Occasionally required to balance, bend, stoop, kneel, or crawl.Continuous verbal communication and auditory tasks.Occasional exposure to bloodborne and airborne pathogens or infectious materials.Moderate noise levels in the work environment.Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.Equipment used: Computers, copiers, and other standard office devices. Required What We’re Looking For: Active and clear Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner license in the state of ColoradoActive DEA license in the state of ColoradoWilling to work with our Clinical Support team to handle a variety of PMHNP needsVersatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.Good judgment, detail-oriented, and highly organized with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.Maintain confidentiality at all times.Basic Life Support (current AHA Provider Certification) or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire Preferred Experience in an Outpatient Mental Health OfficeExperience Working Within an EHR Compensation & Benefits Pay Rate: $114,649.60-$140,150.40 annually (based on experience)Medical, Dental, & Vision Insurance (company covers a very generous portion)401(k) with 5% employer matchPaid Time OffPaid HolidaysPaid Sick LeaveStudent Loan Reimbursement ProgramContinuing Education FundBonus Program Join a team that values excellence, collaboration, and client care.
