Onsite Medical Receptionist *HIRING NOW*

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Medical Front Desk Coordinator to join a fast-paced orthotic and prosthetic practice serving 20–35 patients daily. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a busy clinical environment, is detail-oriented, and provides excellent patient service.

Responsibilities

• Greet and check in patients in a professional and friendly manner
• Answer incoming calls and assist with patient inquiries
• Schedule and manage patient appointments
• Verify insurance coverage and obtain prior authorizations/pre-certifications
• Accurately enter and update patient demographic information
• Collect and process patient payments (co-pays, co-insurance, deductibles)
• Provide general front office administrative support
• Assist with patient check-out processes
• Support prior authorization workflows as needed
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a medical front office setting
• Minimum 2 years of experience using EMR/EHR systems
• Minimum 2 years of experience with medical terminology
• Experience verifying insurance coverage and benefits
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• High attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent customer service and communication skills

Pay And Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.50 - $18.00/hr.
