Onsite Maintenance Technician (Hollybrook)

About the role

The Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in ensuring the upkeep, safety, and overall appearance of community properties. Working closely with the Maintenance Manager, this role focuses on preventative care, timely repairs, and creating a well-maintained environment for residents.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative and routine maintenance on community property and equipment
• Manage and complete work orders through the work order system
• Drive association golf cart throughout community to respond to work orders
• Install and maintain drywall
• Conduct general maintenance, janitorial duties, and groundskeeping
• Carry out regular inspections of grounds, common areas, and buildings
• Identify and report needed repairs, improvements, and safety concerns to the Maintenance Manager
• Apply knowledge in carpentry, concrete, doors, drywall, fencing, cleaning, gutters, locks, plumbing, and painting

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent required. Previous experience in maintenance or similar field preferred. Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions. Valid certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication and problem-solving skills. Knowledge of basic electrical systems and plumbing. Experience with carpentry, concrete, doors, drywall, fencing, cleaning, gutters, locks, plumbing, and painting is beneficial but not required.

Pay

$16.00 – $20.00 per hour (depending on experience)
