About the role
We are seeking an Onsite Lab Support Clerk to join our team in Cincinnati, OH. This position involves performing clinical specimen accessioning, sample sorting, and data entry in a fast-paced, high-throughput environment located onsite with one of our client offices.
Responsibilities
- Prepare laboratory specimens for analysis and testing
- Communicate effectively with client office staff
- Research, troubleshoot, and resolve customer and specimen problems
- Meet department activity and production goals
- Perform accurate and timely data entry of patient information
- Accurately identify and label specimens
- Pack and ship specimens to proper testing facilities
- Scrub requisitions to ensure samples are prepared and missing items are updated
- Perform spinning, freezing, splitting, and other special services as needed based on client requirements
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED (or equivalent)
- 2+ years of experience in laboratory, accessioning, data entry, or manufacturing
- Comfortable handling biological specimens
- Ability to accurately identify specimens
- Strong data entry and organizational skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Proficient in MS Office
- Able to lift up to 40 lbs
- Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
Preferred Qualifications
- 2+ years of medical or patient-facing healthcare experience
- Experience working in a team environment
Pay
$17.75–$25.49 per hour. Eligible for 2nd shift differential.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM–6:30 PM

Employees scheduled to work less than 20 hours per week, casual, intern, and temporary employees are eligible for the 401(k) plan only. Employees on a 7-on/7-off schedule receive all benefits except PTO or FTO.
